2. Our Procurement Philosophy – Partnering with the Best
Strategic Material Sourcing
Honglu procures all raw materials directly from primary steel mills – no intermediary traders. We have long term annual frame agreements with:

All steel plates are fully killed (fine grained), and plates thicker than 20mm in Q355B grade meet Level III ultrasonic inspection standards. Every plate is traceable to the specific mill heat number, project, and even the final structural member.
Coating & Consumables
We maintain strategic partnerships with world leading paint suppliers Jotun (10,000 t/year) and PPG (10,000 t/year), who provide on site technical service at our factories. Our in house welding wire plant produces 200,000 tonnes annually using premium wire rods from Qingdao Steel and HBIS, ensuring stable weld quality.
Quality Assurance – Full Traceability
Each of our production bases has a central laboratory that tests every batch of steel (mechanical properties, chemical composition, ultrasonic inspection), welding consumables, and paint (zinc content, resin content, volume solids). All test results are stored online.
Our proprietary work reporting and QR code traceability system (Software Copyright V1.0) ensures that every single component can be traced to:
